Friends in our garden

This little guy is living in/around some of my plant pots and seedling trays. Does that mean I'm over-watering them?

Very glad to see him, anyway. They're great for pest control.

Ooooh a toady..yay!! We have one of those too.. He just loves our garden, have no idea why though.. It might be something to do with the pondy things we have, either that or he is having a love affair with my dog Bear and the resident hedgehog family in the compost heap..lol

Hope you are resting..

*Hugs*

The plants are prob fine, toads do like wet places though, we've found several piles of toadspawn in our garden over the years, we don't have a pond, and we believe the nearest pond to be 3 doors down! Hope Kita doesn't scare it off! Unlucky slugs, happy toad.

hi, just had a look at your garden blog after seeing it on the olg mail! nice frog (toad?)! we have them too, mainly in the dome, where it is nice, shady and cool... they seem to get a bit tame too, they hardly move away anymore, when we work around the plants! pity though that they don't finish off vine weevils - they'd have a feast! made me think of putting up a gardening blog too....
